Tipco Premix is pre-mixed asphalt composed of standard gravel, specially formulated asphalt, and an additive that enhances adhesion. Tipco Premix is applicable for any patching, pothole reinstatement, temporary surfacing, and repair.

Tipco Premix is suitable for both asphalt and concrete surfaces such as roadways, footpaths, walkways, curbs, speedbumps, parking lots, residential streets, and temporary ramps.

Tipco Premix is packaged and sealed in a double-layer plastic bag with a net weight of 20 kg., which is enough to repair a pothole with a dimension of 0.25 square meters and 5 centimeters in depth (or 4 bags to 1 square meter, 5 centimeters deep).

Tipco Joint Sealer is a hot-applied elastic type concrete joint sealer and is a blend of synthetic rubber asphalt, filler, and a chemical additive to correct or prevent cracks in concrete caused by spread or shrinkage.

APPLICATION AND RECOMMENDATIONS

• Clean the joint ensuring it is free from dust and debris. Apply Tipco Joint Sealer to enhance adhesion.
• Heat Tipco Joint Sealer in an oil-jacketed melter by controlling the temperature of heat transfer oil - the oil should not exceed 240°C (465°F) and the sealant should not exceed 180°C (360°F).
• Continuously stir the melted material until homogeneous.
• Pour sealant into prepared concrete joints. Recommended pouring temperature should be between 140°C and 180°C (284°F to 356°F).
• Let the joint sealer cool down.

HEALTH AND SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

• Excessive heating may cause combustion.
• While the joint sealer is being heated, prevent water from getting into the sealer.
• Wear proper protective clothing to protect against burning. Gloves and goggles should be used.
• In the event of a fire, use a CO2 or a dry chemical type fire extinguisher. Do not use water.

Tipco Joint Primer has excellent adhesion properties to concrete surfaces prior to applying Tipco Concrete Joint Sealer.

PACKAGING

Tipco Joint Primer is contained in a metal can with a handle and removable metal lid with a net volume of 3.5 Liters.

APPLICATION AND RECOMMENDATIONS

• Recommended application temperature is 5 - 60°C. No heating is required.
• Keep the can tightly closed after use.
