All fired heater equipment in KBC which involve boilers and furnaces have been equipped with advanced continuous emission monitoring system.

With this equipment, DOE and KBC personnel can directly monitor KBC stack emission 24hours a day to ensure the emission produced at the stack is below the maximum limit as per DOE “Clean Air Regulation” 2014. Under this regulation, all KBC furnaces and boilers should not release NOx emission more than 450 ppm and CO emission more than 50 ppm.
