Conversion to Natural Gas

A major project was implemented at the KBC refinery to convert all its furnaces and fired heaters to operate using natural gas, a cleaner and more efficient alternative to liquid fuel Oil.

This project, which was completed at a cost of MYR 12.7 million, has not only transformed the refinery to operate more economically in terms of fuel efficiency but more importantly, has contributed towards reduced emissions.
